I'm in choir, and have been singing the Alto part, but sometimes it gets too low for me to sing comfortably and I catch myself taking it up an octave. My range is from Bb3 to C5. What would that make me? I find if I sing the Alto part, it can get to low, but if I sing the Soprano part, it is too hig... Read More »

Should the Mezzo-Soprano (the voice between a Soprano and Alto) sing the Soprano or Alto part in choral music? It seems like a constant problem.
